Melissa Pfluger returns for her fourth Song of Mark, this time as Women III (she was the “Unless You Learn” childrens’ soloist in the 1st production in 1998). Melissa is the middle of Sharon and Craig Pfluger’s five children. As she grew with Parish musicals (AGAPE, Parish Variety Show, Feast of Life), Melissa also progressed through Resurrection’s choirs, beginning with her mom’s Family Choir, singing before she could speak. Melissa currently studies voice and violin at UW-Stevens Point as a Choral and Instrumental Music Education Major. She also enjoys playing tennis, baking, and teaching Cardio Kickboxing and Step Classes.

Tammy Basten joins the cast as a new member to The Song of Mark as Woman II. She and her husband Doug and two sons Alec 10 and Tyler 8 reside in Allouez and are members at Resurrection Parish where she shares in teaching Liturgy of the Word for Children. With goals of spending more quality time with her family, she audition for a solo in The Song of Mark along with her son Alec and looks forward to spending time with him practicing and being part of this important ministry. Tammy graduated from St. Norbert College with a BA in Communication, Media, and Theater and additional major in English Literature. While attending St. Norbert’s she worked as a Stage Manager for the theatrical performances and was involved in many factors back stage including building scenery, lighting and sound, and makeup/costume. She also enjoyed being part of the SNC traveling children’s theater group performing at schools throughout the area. In her earlier years she enjoyed being part of high school choir and swing choirs. Her favorite memory of singing included the joy of performing Christmas concerts at nursing homes in her home town on the Mississippi River; Red Wing, Minnesota. Tammy is the Director of Facilities & Properties with the Diocese of Green Bay.

Carrie Liebhauser and her family (husband Kevin and children Nate, 9, member of Feast of Life 2005 cast and Jenna, 8, current cast member...both students at Resurrection School) have been Res members for 5 years.
