Audio/Video Minister
- Opperate the Video system in church during Mass. Some basic computer knowledge necessary. For more information contact Beth Sanders.
Extraordinary Eucharistic Minister
Reader/Lector
- Read the Scriptures and petitions. Two
readers needed at each Mass
Altar Server
- Training begins in 4th grade.
Boys, girls and adults are encouraged to be trained. Two servers needed for
each Mass; special occasions three or four needed.
Musician
- Choir member (Youth
Music Team, PRAYSE Choir)
- Instrumentalist
- Cantor (sings alone on the Psalm and
Alleluia)
- Organist/pianist (accompanies congregational
singing at Mass)
- Funeral Choir - combined with St.
Matthew Parish's funeral choir. This on call choir sings
for funerals at both parishes. Women and men welcome! Call
Michele Becker 336-7768 to be put on the phone tree.
Usher/Greeter/Hospitality
- Arrives 15 minutes early to greet
people. Takes up the collection, hands out bulletins, tidies up the pews and attends to people's
needs.
Nursing Home Ministry
- Takes Holy Communion to the nursing
homes or hospitals that our parish serves on Sunday morning;
other times as requested. (Sat. AM, Wed., Thurs.) For more information, contact Mary Meisinger.
Prayer Chain
- Prayer requests are received by phone
chain and members choose prayers to pray at home each day
as their schedules allow. Call Shirley Gebhard 336-9266 Dorthea Umentum at 347-3426
or Arletta Laundre 336-5200. All done in confidence on a
first-name basis only.
Sacristan
- Helps with the daily/weekly upkeep
of the church environment, candles, ironing of altar clothes,
seasonal decorations.
Art & Environment
All liturgical ministers are scheduled
on a rotating team basis, with the exception of sacristan
and art & environment, which is on an "as needed"
basis.
