Introducing Resurrection's New App

Did you know Americans are spending an average of 4.7 hours a day on their smartphones and tablet? Most of that time is spent using apps.

Mobile devices are used for daily activities such as keeping a calendar, banking, getting directions, and even reading scripture. Smartphone apps are now the primary means for communication and accessing content.

So Resurrection has decided to enter the App game! We've recently been accepted into the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store.

The goal of this app is to support, communicate, and share within our parish family. Members can post to message boards, see announcement slides, read the bulletin, watch videos, sign up for events, contact the parish and more.

After downloading the app on your Apple or Android device, you can create an account for free to interact.

Join us for Mass this weekend in person at 4:00 PM on Saturday, 8:30 or 10:30 AM on Sunday, on www.gbres.org/live, our YouTube channel, and our Facebook page.

Confirmation Pen Pal Project

As part of their sacramental prep, this year's Confirmation students participated in the PenPal Schools project. Students connected with PenPals from across the world to create original projects. The goal is to build global awareness and collaboration skills by facilitating authentic, cross-cultural experiences. Each project stems from the student's understanding of Catholic Social Teaching.

Why did Tony bring two pairs of pants to the golf course?

In case he got a hole in one.

Oh wait...
Tony wears a kilt to golf.
I guess he won't ever get
a hole in one!

Speaking of Tony and Golf,
