Leadership Councils & Teams

Stewardship Team - facilitates awareness to Resurrection's commitment to Stewardship

Pastoral Council - provides leadership in the parish and acts as a consultative body to the pastor

Finance Council - assists the past in the wise stewardship of the material gifts entrusted by God to the parish

Worship & Spirituality - fosters the spiritual life of the parish through liturgy planning and training of liturgical ministers

Family Life Committee - develops and coordinates enrichment opportunities and programs for families at different stages of the life cycle

Mission Outreach - oversees the outreach programs for the parish

Adult Enrichment Committee - promotes prayer

Buildings & Grounds Committee - oversees the care

Safety Committee - focuses on safety practices from internal and external exposures

Health & Wellness - facilities and organizes awareness of health and wellness issues and practices

Liturgical Minstries

Eucharistic Minister - distributes Communion at Mass

Primary Minister - assures that Masses go smoothly as coordinators of certain aspects of the liturgy. They assist the presider and altar servers

Altar Server - aids the presider and other ministers at Mass and other worship services

Lectors - proclaims the Word of God at Masses

Choir - sing praise to God during Mass. There are choirs for all ages

Instrumentalist - plays for Masses

Usher- serves as the official hosts at Mass. They greet parishioners and guests

Video Minister - supports the visual needs at Masses through the use of video cameras and presentation slides

Pastoral Ministries

Outreach Eucharistic Minister - brings communion to local hospitals and nursing homes

Prison Ministry - meets with small groups of prisoners for Bible study or skills training

Prayer Chain - prays daily for special intentions and prayer requests submitted to the parish

Helping Hands - provides temporary assistance for parish members. This includes preparing and delivering a meal

Prayer Shawl Ministry - meets monthly to knit and crochet shawls. Each shawl is created and prayed over before it is given to those who are in need of comfort and support

Weekend Hospitality - serves coffee and donuts after Sunday liturgies

Blood Pressure Screening - assists with blood pressure screening before and after Masses on the second weekend of every month

Service Ministries

Art & Environment Member - decorates the church and other areas

Bulk Mailing Crew - meets to assemble parish mailings

Baking - bakes for special events

Childcare - offers childcare for parish events

Funeral Dinner Volunteer - assists with the meal that follows a funeral

Servites - maintains the parish grounds through mowing and clean up

Spade Brigade - cares for the parish gardens through watering

Faith Formation Ministries

Generations of Disciples Catechist - leads children and youth on our Wednesday GOD nights

Confirmation Catechist - helps guide high schoolers as they prepare for the Sacrament of Confirmation

RCIA/Adult Confirmation Team Member - supports the catechumens and candidates as they learn more about the Catholic faith and then received into full communion with the Catholic Church

Youth Ministry Leadership Team - supports the youth minister in organizing opportunities for youth to grow in faith
